You could see that you need the same amount of food to level up a hero when you pair him to train with ⭐ and ⭐⭐ heroes, but the outcome, i.e the number of XP is far much better when they train with ⭐⭐ heroes than with a ⭐ hero. Perhaps it would be the same if we use a ⭐⭐⭐ hero if we have extra of them, or extra time to train them.
