Though I am a teacher who teaches science, I have never done experiments with my kids at home. I do experiments beforehand to make sure that all my experiments in class would work so I try out first at home.
This experiment is also a try out, but I get my boys to see what I did. Used a yeast mixture to inflate a balloon to prove that microorganisms breath, a year six syllabus.
They are so thrilled to see the balloon inflated little by little.
