One day, a frog snatched her away from her mother. The frog wanted her to marry his son. Thumbellina sat by the pond crying. She did not want to marry the frog's son.
Suddenly, a swallow flew by and saved her. It brought her to the flower country.
She met the King of the flower fairies. They were happily married.
