I like to go out from school sometimes to have a look at other schools, especially around their science labs. The perfect time to do this is definitely during UPSR tests in September when I invigilate exams in other schools. Pick a few things as well, like school environment- how students move around, how they greet teachers, how they are at the canteen and stuff, and go back to my school and discuss amongst peers. Some of what we have discussed could be implemented in our own classrooms. For the time being, not much have been done for the science lab part, partly due to the fact that the science looks like it's going to collapse anytime- seriously! Our application of furnishing the lab with a black curtain has just been approved after 6 years of waiting- eat that! Now we could finally do some meaningful decoration to cheer up the room.
