Rice as baby's first food

Such a spoon could scoop rice grains without spilling them. Earlier, baby would only consume a few spoonfuls of rice porridge per feeding. 1 scoop of rice grain can make rice porridge up to 3 of this container.

Eating rice alone may cause hard stool or constipation. Apple, prune and carrot may help in healthy bowel movement. Apple and carrot need to be shredded finely and cooked with the porridge until very soft. Pitted prune could be added to the porridge when it is almost done-mash the prune before feeding. For every spoonful of rice grain cooked, add in half an apple (Red Delicious is sweet but not too tart), or 2-3 spoonful of shredded carrot, or 1 and a half pitted prune fruit. At this tender age, apple, carrot and prune are the safest food for him. Other food may cause allergy and should be introduced after the 9th month. It is best not to introduce different food at a time. Give him 1-2 weeks before introducing other taste so if he doesn't like a type of food, it could be excluded later.
As baby grows up, he will consume more and prefer to munch his food, so it'd be nice to prepare very soft rice for him.
