Ima ijou, sore ijou, aisareru noni Anata wa tada hajirau yori Tedate ga nakute
Even though you would love me more than now You can do nothing but be shy
Ano kie sou ni Moe sou na wain reddo no Kokoro o motsu anata no negai ga Kanau noni
You still don't know what to do with your fading passionate wine-red heart If your wish is granted, that's fine

Addictive chorus indeed! I still recall Ferry Anugerah Makmur sang this song in the late 80's or early 90's. I became aware of the name Anzen Chitai 安全地帯 when I bought one of BEYOND's unreleased recordings. One of the song was named 安全地帯 because it has Anzen Chitai's influence. It is just recently that I have started following them. They gained commercial success in the 80's and this particular song Wain Reddo No Kokoro (Wine Red Heart) was released in 1984. Other songs that I love:
Koi no Yokan (Prediction of Love)
We can't help but notice that the singing vocal and prowess of the singer Tamaki Koji is undeniably - well I do not know how to say it - impeccable? flawless? something like that, yeah. I mean when you compare with some so-so singers nowadays that sound just a bit better than us singing in the shower. And how many accomplished singers that you could find today as such. It is a pity that recording or music industry has turned completely into money making area or as I like to refer to as merely entertainment. Well, it is up to you.
As for Ferry Anugerah Makmur, he was a flight attendant before pursuing a career in entertainment in the late 80's to early 90's. He was also one of the hosts of Muzik-Muzik (TV3 music show production). He has opened an art gallery Anugerah Gallery that auctioned some paintings to raise money for Gaza in 2009.
