dessert for dinner

Ingredients:
57g cornstarch
76g sugar
pinch of salt
3 cups whole milk
170g semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped (or good chocolate chips)
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Cooking:
  1. Combine the cornstarch, sugar and salt in large bowl
  2. Slowly whisk in the milk
  3. Place the bowl on top of a double boiler over gently simmering water and stir occasionally
  4. Add in the chocolate after 15 to 20 minutes. Continue stirring until the pudding is smooth and thickened
  5. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla- done!
Chilled and topped with a scoop of ice cream
