Aishah and The Fan Club was definitely one of the first few musical influences in my life. I have known them since I was 12. It was my mother who actually bought one of their releases. I can still remember a few lines from a few songs in the release, including Call Me, Don't Let Me Fall Alone and Never Gave Up on You. They were so popular even Pepsi signed them up for a promo.
