I am referring to the Taiwanese singing quartet F4 of Meteor Garden fame.
F4 is not a band, it's not even a band's name. The name was taken from the hit series (bleurgh ...) Meteor Garden of the four characters of handsome (oh please ...) university students, they were so handsome (oh please, please ...) that people called them Flower Four (s*ssy!)
F4 don't exactly sing, no, no, no! Singing is to the likes of Jacky Cheung or Chris You or Eason Chan, nothing like F4. Just listen to Jerry Yan- I can't stand how he sounds.
Meteor Garden is an adaptation of the Japanese comic Boys Over Flowers and in 2007, the Japanese has launched its own live action version of the comic. The Taiwanese F4 couldn't use this name F4 anymore.
