All of the school staff went out for banquet lunch in Bandar Baru Bangi at a place called Horizon as part of farewell bidding to the retiring GPK Ko-ku.
Abundant they look but unfortunately not enough to feed 10 people, especially the medium siakap in the middle. Delicious but 2-3 dishes were just too hot for kids to eat. The tom yam was too thick and salty. It tasted nice as an appetizer but just too salty when I have eaten other dishes. The food are all delicious but just a bot too salty, or too hot, or too sour.
My colleagues all smiles before eating. Ambience is nice and the room was adequetly air conditioned. (That tom yum looked really red but it was not too hot which is actually really nice. It was salty.) The restaurant was highly rated by the few peopke who went there already getting served individually. I guess it us a hood place to dine in small batch rather than group dining.
My other thought ...
just digged some toys that I have been keeping away from the boys. Farhan took out the bowling set but then quarelled a bit with baby brother over the bowling set. See how upset he looks. Anyway, I could not help but remember the story Cikgu Ra*zak Hu*sein (now in KPM) told me about a student who went for the school's bowling team tryout. He said he could play bowling but teacher was sure that the boy could not. When further asked about where he would play and the frequency of the activity, the boy just admitted that he had only played with the toy bowling set!
Somebody from the district office, the retired GPK Koku, our HM, GPK 1 and the YDP of PTA of the school. Happy Retirement cikgu Yusof.
